Day 1- Leave Arusha to Bukoba,  

Day 2-Bukoba – Rubondo Island
After breakfast drive to Muganza port.  Take a boat to Rubondo Island National Park (30 minutes). Here the car will pick you to the forest to the bandas or lodge in a 30 minutes drive.  On the way to the lodge you might able to spot wild animals.

Day 3 Rubondo Island   
Today you will be out of the car for a while take a 2-3 hours walk in the forest. This place is known for its animals like Sitatunga, Hippos, Crocodiles, Africa Fish eagle and many more. Also, you can go for sport fishing, boat ride and birds identification. You will finish your day with a campfire

Day4-Rubondo-Island-Bukoba
This is a last day, the boat brings you back to the Muganza port.  From here you will be picked up and drive back to Bukoba(3hrs).

Lake Tanganyika 

This is the longest fresh water lake in the world (677km), also, its chain of lakes on the bottom of the Western Great Rift Valley which make second deepest (1433m), with over 350 species of fish which most are endemic. The lake is extremely old, isolation and stability have made it a wonderful evolutionary of fish populations.  New species are being discovered which make it difficult to determine which has the highest diversity,

Sport fishing is very popular here and catches include the goliath tigerfish and Nile perch. Also other activities like swimming and surfing.
